Anthony Izzard, Program Proprietor of the Fathers’ Strengthening Families Program, Greensboro N.C. and Fatherhood Practitioner just recently for Proud Fathers United 2020-2022 (formerly Guilford Child Development) Anthony has worked with fathers and families for over 20 plus years from coaching high school football in Guilford and Randolph County to human services.
Mr. Izzard has consulted with Guilford Nurse-Family Partnership (Community Advisory Board), Triad Baby Love Plus, NC Medicaid Waiver Advisory Board, Infant Mortality Advisory Board, and Guilford Child Development EHS/HS Male/Fatherhood Initiative. Mr. Izzard was formerly a member of the Greensboro Human Rights Commission, Guilford County Parks and Recreation Commission and MLK Day Planning Committee. Currently he's a member of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Commission, Southeast Greensboro Coalition, Randleman Road Community Association, Greensboro NAACP, Warnesville Community Coalition, GPD Community Engagement-Community Connections, Executive Committee for Greensboro Southside Reunion (Divine Intervention Community Resources), Ben L Smith Athletics Booster Club and Ben L Smith Alumni Association
Mr. Izzard is also a program founder/facilitator for the TAPS (Teaching Adolescents Pathways for Success) in Guilford County Schools under the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (2004-2009) in which he used the Fatherhood Development (Partners of Fragile Families) curriculum (Also an licensed Master Facilitator Trainer) He is a National Fatherhood Practitioner and member of the N.C. Fatherhood Advisory Council and formerly Guardian ad Litem for North Carolina Courts in District 15 B (Orange/Chatham) An member of American Football Coaches Association
A graduate of Ben L Smith High School and NC A&T State University. He’s the co-parent of one daughter Brianna and son Brandan Anthony
